Holy Shit
It's hot. I mean really really hot. It is almost 6:00 PM, and it's 106 degrees outside. Tomorrow and Saturday, it's forecasted to be 110 degrees.
I hate the summer.
I mean really REALLY hate the summer. I'm not a hot weather person. Once it gets over 80, I start using the air conditioner. Needless to say, this summer, the a/c has been going almost constantly. That, however, is going to change. I received my electric bill for last month. Over $300, thankyouverymuch. Yikes! Yet another reason to hate summer.
And my husband wants to move to the desert??!! He's fucking nuts.

Well, actually, if you moved to the "true" desert, it'd be very cold in the evenings, and you'd have to turn the heat on.
(Should I shut up now? :P)
I hate winter. I'd much rather have summer than winter, just not in Michigan. The humidity KILLS me. Its horrid.
The dry heat of the desert, HEAVEN!! When its in the 80'd here, yet over 100 in dryer areas, i'll take the 100. Such a difference humidity makes.
Damn! And I'm bitching about 91 degrees. I feel like a wimp. I just got my electric bill $198.00, yikes!
If your husband wants to move to the desert he is nucking futs!
See you should summer here. It's dry heat (except this year has been more humid than usual) and it rarely gets up to 100 let alone going over 100.
I think we should summer with dani too. :D
I don't know what you humidity is like, but here in the Ohio River Valley it is terrible. I side with you hubby: I rather face these temperatures as a dry desert heat than as this humid stuff. Dry heat effls much cooler. I'm thinking abour heading for the desert myself!
Does Dani have room for all of us?
The thought of Dani sqeezing us all in brings some really ineresting images to mind. :D
That sounds GREAT MD. You're all wlecome to visit and we can all go skinny dipping. :D
Hey, it's a dry heat.
I so couldn't live there. I love heat, but it's nice when it cools down to 60 at night. I'm too cheap for air conditioning, but in that case, a person really wouldn't have a choice. Hang in there!
Thanks Barb! We're trying. And I could not live without air conditioning.
DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT move to the desert. It's miserable here. MISERABLE. Even tho the winters are heavenly, it's hardly worth living here. Especially the last couple years. The humidity is brutal. Dry heat my ASS!
