Actually - they were screeching in delight. They absolutely loved it. Munchkin just got her feet wet, but as you can see - Kidlet and her friend went all in. Yes - we're definately Californians. Where else can you have pool parties in the middle of November? Actually - you could in Hawaii, but we're not counting that one. LOL.
Me? I was dressed in a flannel shirt and sweats (hubby's favorite - for some unknown reason).
We are just starting to get a cold snap here in NC but it is beautiful none the less. Went down to the docks last night to see all the boats passing through the area. Frost is on the pumpkin today.
It's not too warm here - mid sixties. But the girls really wanted to go swimming - and I'm a complete pushover. Sooo . . . they froze, but had tons of fun.
Yes, MD, my girls are absolutely adorable. We just had Xmas pics taken yesterday, and I couldn't believe my eyes. I can't wait to get them back.
Penny -- that invitation sounds too good to ignore. Personally, I love colder weather.
Just give us a few days warning so we can clean up (and ensure that the kids' Dad will have them for at least a couple of those days) and you are always welcome.
The house is usually unorganized and never pristinely clean, but mi casa es su casa. :o)

:-D
okay, that's it. *packs up cats* the boys and I will be there soon.
Make room, Callie, we're all coming to visit.
Flannel and sweats in November in California?
Oh hun, don't come visit Toronto unless it's July, okay? I don't want to explain to the Emergency Room why you're hypothermic in June. :oP
I suppose visting you folks would require putting lotsa alcohol in the system so we won't freese up.
That looks like so much fun! It's warm in Louisville (68), but no swimming pools around.
Alcohol, snuggling under covers and a fireplace, lowk.
Wanna come snuggle? :P
I love the new pool! Looks like alot of fun. Its going to be snowing here soon :-( I want no snow.
Can I bring Callie, Penny?

Of course you can, Lowk. The "you" was in the plural sense. Mossy and I would be devastated if you didn't bring her along!
I'm glad to hear that. :-P LOL
